Dumitrita Suzana Mic, "The Politics of Climate Change"

PhD Student, Global & Sociocultural Studies, dissertation advised by Laura Ogden

The research proposes an analysis of the climate change issue, not merely as a bio-physical phenomenon, but as a highly politicized one that has far reaching social implications. More specifically it aims at mapping the social- scientific and political decision making institution that has formed around this issue, in the diverse cultural context of Miami- Dade.
